Unleash the Power of Nonprofit Storytelling: Transforming Moments that Give You Goosebumps

If you want to raise money, then it has to be what I would call "Goosebumpy Content".

In fact, I tell all of my clients that for print material, speeches, or videos where the goal is to fundraise, your content needs to pass the "Goosebumps Test".

Make sure to keep in mind my favorite nonprofit storytelling tip - that only through the specific can something become universalizable.

You need to capture a specific moment within that story where transformation happens and make sure that is captured and then do the goosebumps test again until you get that solicitation letter to a place where you know it's going to be solid ROI!
