Arduino Stella Review: AirTag-Style UWB

In this video, I test and review the Arduino Stella, Arduino’s first official UWB (Ultra-Wideband) device — and it feels a lot like building your own AirTag!

I show how the iPhone detects Stella using BLE + UWB via Nearby Interaction, allowing real-time distance and direction tracking.
The Stella features the TrueSense DCU040 UWB module (based on NXP’s Trimension SR040) and a Nordic nRF52840 BLE microcontroller.
It offers ~10cm accuracy and ~15dBm transmit power, powered by a compact CR2032 coin cell.
Whether you're into smart access, asset tracking, or location-aware projects, this is a great starting point.
