I purchased this from Canadian Tire on sale. I think I did a pretty in depth run through of the machine for anyone that's looking into ice makers and tell you what others do not....that it takes hours to make a good size bag of ice. I'm sure all the portable ones work about the same. If you need it for a few quick drinks or don't have the room for ice trays this works fine....watch and decide for yourself.
