I Travelled to Spain's Bird Photography Paradise!

📍 SEGOVIA, SPAIN | Bee-Eaters, Hoopoes & Incredible Iberian Birds!

Join me as I travel to the stunning region of Segovia, Spain, in search of some of the Iberian Peninsula's most beautiful and charismatic bird species. From the dazzling colours of the European Bee-eater to the unmistakable Hoopoe, this trip delivered unforgettable wildlife encounters and some fantastic photography opportunities.

Over several days we explored a variety of habitats, photographing Bee-eaters in flight, Hoopoes carrying food, elusive warblers, larks, shrikes and many other fascinating species. Just when we thought the trip couldn't get any better, we were treated to a surprise encounter with one of Spain's most mysterious birds – the Nightjar.

This was a trip packed with colour, behaviour, and incredible photographic opportunities, showcasing why Spain remains one of Europe's premier destinations for bird photography.
