Welcome to another travel vlog from New Zealand, in the amazing Tongariro National Park, where we finally ticked off one of the best day hikes in the world — The Tongariro Alpine Crossing Hike!

The Tongariro crossing is a 19.4km hike through an active volcano zone.. "rich in both cultural identity and dramatic, awe-inspiring natural scenery. Unique landforms, including the volcanic peaks of Ngauruhoe, Tongariro and Ruapehu ensure the Tongariro Alpine Crossing is considered a world-renowned trek."

The thing that has really stuck with us about the hike is the changing landscapes. You may have spotted on the signs we filmed the various stopping points and sections of the hike — every single one of those individual 30-60 minute sections is like a completely different New Zealand adventure we've had. The Tongariro Alpine Crossing really is a combination of all of the absolute best elements of a hike in one day!
