It took just 8 minutes for Lallianzuala Chhangte to break the deadlock and push Chennaiyin FC into the lead, but this was soon cancelled out as Imran Khan netted his 1st #HeroISL goal to tie the game up. Deshorn Brown gave NEUFC the lead ahead of half-time, but CFC came out firing in the 2nd period and netted 2 quick goals to go up 3-2. It looked like a certain win for Csaba Laszlo's side, but an error from Chennaiyin FC's Vishal Kaith led to Luis Machado equalising in stoppage time.
