Starfish Cuatro Palmas. A beautiful resort in the small town of Varadero, Cuba. This resort may be a little older than some of the newer, bigger resorts, however, it is still well maintained and very friendly. The staff is very nice and accommodating. The food and menu is pretty average but very good.

The main benefit of staying at Cuatro Palmas is that it is right downtown Varadero. No need to take a bus or taxi into town everyday. Varadero is a lively, fun and safe area at night. There are lots of great bars and restaurants with music and entertainment all night long. The Cuatro Palmas is only a short, few minutes, walk from The Beatles bar and Josone Park, home of "The Best Pina Coladas". Not to mention all the small shops up and down the main street.

As well, Starfish Cuatro Palmas is right on the amazing white sand beach... closer than some resorts. They also feature a GREAT house band that plays all the classic Cuban songs, in addition to the various other musicians found there every evening. There is also a stage with different talented acts performing nightly.

And... there are many cats that are very very friendly.
