Ulu Kali Trail, Genting Highlands, Malaysia - Bird Photography - Feb 2020

Genting Highland is located about 50km from Kuala Lumpur. Ulu Kali birding spot is located at the top of radar station road just after the Resort World Genting, which is a byroad thru a car park.The road is not very well maintained and its narrow, hence be careful when driving uphill. The peak is most of the time foggy & cold and better wear long sleeves or take a jacket with you.

*** Since the radar station area is restricted, please be considerate while birding.

Grey-sided Thrush, Siberian Thrush & Siberian Blue Robin are migratory birds, you could see in the migratory season in early months of the year. Others you can see throughout the year.

This is a small birding area which could be covered in couple of hours, and you can continue other birding places in Genting.
