750cc X Kart Gets OFF ROAD TIRES!

We install aggressive off road tires on the rear of our 750cc cross kart! The turf tires we had were just fine for the street, but we knew for better performance on off road surfaces like sand and dirt we'd need cleatey tires. Our new off road tires are a bit taller than the old ones (3-4 inches), so they've changed the gearing on the cross kart. Between the taller gearing from the tires, and having a sub-optimal carburetor setup, the cross kart bogs in 2nd gear. We have more tuning ahead of us!
