Hi guys! In this video I want to talk about the five top ways, in my opinion, that you can make money online.

I want to be completely transparent; we're only going to be talking about methods that I've personally used to make money or build businesses on the internet. I don't want to talk about fluff or theory, or talk about something that I don't have any experience in, or have never used.

Method number one is blogging. Blogging is a very popular thing right now, it's a great way to drive traffic to your website to talk about something topical. You can blog about anything. What are you interested in? What is your passion? What would you enjoy shooting videos about and posting it on your blog? Produce regular content on a blog and then over time you can sell advertising space on the side of your blog. You make money as the blog owner when you have those advertisements on your blog.

Number two is selling physical products. You can do this either on eBay or Amazon. I used to actually just go to a website called alibaba.com and buy products in bulk. I used to sell these USB memory pens or memory drives and other small electronics, and I used to buy them in the hundreds. I used to package them up, sell them on eBay and make a profit on them, that was one way that I used to make money. Now, again in full transparency, I found that difficult to scale to a great amount per month but I was making money with that, that was a very simple way to make money by selling those products and buying them wholesale.
You can also sell things on Amazon. Amazon will actually give you a percentage of the sale every time you sell a physical product on their website. You can drive traffic to Amazon and if anyone you refer actually makes a purchase, you will get a commission.

Number three is a big one, it's information marketing. It's selling someone information on the internet. I make multiple six figures per year just selling information, it's a big part of my personal business and here's how it works. You're not selling any physical products, there's no reason to pick up the phone and call anybody. Someone on the internet will pay good money for information on a certain topic for example. Whatever it is, let's say you're in the weightloss industry, you can put together an online training program that someone will pay you for and you will send them access to an online members area where they can download that training. They make a purchase, the transaction is made, and then you send them some digital content.

Number four is coaching or consulting. Are you an expert in something? Let's use the weightloss example, do you know how to help someone lose weight, or do you know how to help someone build muscle, or get fit? Whatever it is, if you are an expert in something, you can sell your time. Someone can come to your website, they can get more information about what you're good at, maybe they'll book you for an hour of your time for 'x' amount, and you are now that persons coach and you help them with that problem personally one on one. That's something I do in my business, my area of expertise, what I'm very good at, is online sales and internet marketing and I don't do it very often, but sometimes I open up coaching where I actually speak to people one on one on the phone or I'll do live workshops where people can come and meet me in person and we work on their business and I help them with their online marketing.

Number five is one of my favourite ways to make money on the internet and build a business and I use this a lot in my business; it's called affiliate marketing. Affiliate marketing is where you sell products on behalf of someone else. So someone else has a weightloss product, someone else has a workout program and you can just promote other people's products and get a commission when a sale is made.
The reason why I love affiliate marketing is that this is perfect for newbies, perfect to brand new people to online business. If you have no experience with building a business or making money online, you have no idea what kind of product you can even put together, then you can just go ahead and find products that you can promote as an affiliate, all you have to do is drive traffic to other people's websites and there's a boatload of ways that you can do that.
