Greek priest yells 'heretic' as Pope Francis passes

An elderly Orthodox priest heckled Pope Francis on Saturday as the pontiff arrived for a meeting with the leader of Greece's Orthodox Church, Archbishop Ieronymos.

The priest shouted "Pope, you're a heretic!" at least three times before police took him away.

Francis appeared not to notice and proceeded into the Archbishopric for a meeting with Ieronymos.

Francis' visit is expected to further Catholic-Orthodox ties, still wounded by the Great Schism that divided Christianity.
