Solo Flawless Zero Hour Heroic (Hunter)

Welcome back, Oppressive Darkness. We've all missed you very much.

I didn't record my first solo flawless clear from two days ago, so I decided to try again and I managed to improve my time by over a minute (42 seconds vs 1min49 left). It could've been even faster, I had three shaky moments (one outside, two in the ventilator section), but I am very proud of this run.

My clanmate RokDC pointed me towards the Fallen Repurposing Mod, which I heavily abused in combination with this season's (Arrivals) Artifact mod, Oppressive Darkness. Every shield break refunds your grenade, allowing you to throw lots and lots of them and make Shaxx proud. Further synergy with Fallen Armaments also meant that every grenade kill would top up my Heavy Ammo.

I started off with Mountaintop (Major Spec) for burst damage and mobility (from the Lightweight Frame), Riskrunner for the damage reduction (I did not have room for Fallen Barrier) and AOE damage from Arc Conductor, which worked extremely well with the AOE weakening effect from Oppressive Darkness. This leads to some insanely fast room clears. I used the curated Hammerhead (Major Spec) for longer range fights (most notably the Tracer Shanks), the Void shields on the Servitors where needed and to help deal with the first Spider Tank.
After the last Captain group I swapped to Subtle Calamity (for the Void Shanks spawned by the first Servitor in the boss room) and Anarchy (to deal consistent damage to the Spider Tank and bosses while allowing me to move in and out of cover). Fallen Armaments really helps here to regain the ammo lost due to swapping weapons.

In the boss room I tried to use Fallen Repurposing as much as I could. By using Anarchy on the boss at the start, the Spider Tanks spawn very quickly, allowing me to chip away at their health by throwing a weakening grenade, then applying Anarchy. Then I kill one of the Arc Shanks on the side of the room to regain my grenade charge and repeat the process. For the boss I tried to use the same strategy as much as possible, though with only a few Shanks remaining, I could not keep the boss weakened the entire time, but he went down pretty fast regardless.

The run was recorded during Arc Singe.

All in all I'm happy I got this done. I will be focusing on the Solo Flawless clear of Prophecy next, and I also want to get Whisper Heroic done this season.
