⏳ SESSION MILESTONE
Last week was the deadline for bills to pass out of their chamber of origin. Measures that cleared the House or Senate now move to the opposite chamber to begin the process again.

🎓 EDUCATION FUNDING
• HCR 2007 — Directs 60% of education funding straight to teachers
Passed Appropriations 11–7. Your emails helped secure the votes.

🚨 BILL TO WATCH — WE OPPOSE
• HB 2751 — Extends the Arizona Competes Fund
This corporate subsidy program allows government to hand taxpayer dollars to select businesses — picking winners and losers and raising Gift Clause concerns.

💵 TAXPAYER RELIEF — WE SUPPORT
• HB 2273 — Returns illegally collected taxes in Pinal County
After $80 million was improperly collected, this bill sends the remaining $50 million back to taxpayers through $300 rebate checks.
Passed unanimously. Now awaiting Governor Hobbs' decision.

🛒 SMALL BUSINESS PROTECTION — WE SUPPORT
• HB 2460 — Protects business owners from unfair fines
Prevents cities from penalizing businesses when stolen shopping carts are abandoned off-site. Responsibility belongs on the thief — not the victim.
Passed the House and now heads to the Senate.
