*ਸਿਮਰਿ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਤਿਸੁ ਸਦਾ ਸਮ੍ਹਾਲੇ ॥*
*Remembering, remembering Him in meditation, I cherish Him forever.*

*ਜੀਅ ਸੰਤ ਕੈ ਪ੍ਰਾਣ ਅਧਾਰੁ ॥*
*He is the soul, the breath of life, and the support of His Saints.*

*ਨਾਨਕ ਸੰਤ ਜਪਹਿ ਹਰਿ ਨੀਤ ॥*
*O Nanak, the Saints meditate on the Lord, continually.*

*ਮੇਰੇ ਮੀਤ ਸਾਜਨ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਸਮਾਲਿ ॥*
*O my friend and companion, cherish the Name of the Lord, Har, Har.*
