MMIWG2S+ — Red Dress Day 2021
Community members are invited to participate in Red Dress Day on May 5th as a day of action and awareness for Missing & Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls & Two-Spirited+ (MMIWG2S+). The event will be entirely live streamed on numerous Facebook pages throughout the community, including this one. The livestream will include a live panel discussion from local advocates, which viewers will be able to participate in virtually, as well as an announcement of various Red Dress Day events and resources within our region. The goal of the day is to create awareness, as well as educate the community on the ongoing crisis of MMIWG2S+.
