Female Prison Officer Who Had Sex With Prisoner

Tina Gonzalez, 26, has worked as a Fresno County corrections officer since 2016. She was arrested in May 2020 following an investigation into her conduct.
The Sheriff's Office was given a tip off that an inmate had been having sex with a correctional officer and that she had smuggled in a phone. Alongside the phone, Gonzalez had also smuggled in razors which could have been used as weapons.
The Fresno County Sheriff's office has fired former employee and former boss of 26-year-old assistant sheriff Susan Gonzalez.
Gonzalez is alleged to have cut a hole in her uniform to make it easier to have sex with an inmate. She was also accused of having sex in full view in front of 11 other inmates. Assistant Sheriff Steve McComas said: That is something only a depraved mind can come up with.
Gonzalez pleaded no contest to one count of sexual activity by a detention facility employee with a confined adult. She was given two years probation and seven months in the county jail.
Judge: I think what you did was terrible, stupid and you have ruined your career. But I also believe that people can redeem themselves.
