How to Easily Clone Tomatoes and Root Tomato Suckers - The Rusted Garden 2013

You can pinch off a tomato sucker (which has a growing tip) and root it in plain water. In 7-10 days it will have roots long enough to transplant into cup. In another 7 days you have a clone of the original tomato plant that is ready to go into your garden. This is just 1 way to easily root tomato suckers. It is a great way to make a back up plant in case harm comes to the original.
