Here's the reality.

Over half of offenders serving prison sentences under 12 months reoffend within a year. But Intensive Supervision Courts (ISCs) are breaking that cycle of crime by forcing offenders to follow:

🤝 strong probation supervision

💊 targeted addiction support

🧠 mental health treatment.

The most dangerous offenders will still go to prison. ISCs are only for offenders whose criminal behaviour can be addressed within the community.

By addressing the root causes of offending, fewer people will return to crime, creating safer communities.
