Stripping back the Searider - PROJECT SPEEDBOAT - Part2

Saving an old speedboat from the scrap heap and turning it into an expedition vehicle to explore the wild waters of the UK and beyond.

It's time to strip it back and get the polisher out. This episode features a quick trip down the river Thames and through the Thames barrier before taking the rib into the workshop for a lot of cleaning, sanding and polishing.

The boat is an old 1977 Avon Searider SR4. It was given to me as it was knackered. I've already done quite a bit to get it running a bit more respectably but there's a lot more to do.
