Using The Extrude Modifier To Generate Solid 3D Objects From Splines - 3DSMax2012
Video tutorial showing how to create different types of spline objects and convert them into 3D objects using the Extrude modifier. Objects can be created to become solid constructions, or to include holes. The underlying spline can be modified to change the final solid 3D object easily. Objects such as gears and pie charts and nuts can easily be created using this method.
