Sodor Timelapse: The Junction (1915-1925)

Merry Christmas everyone! Here is something I’ve been working on for a long while, the Sodor Timelapse. I got the idea years ago when I wanted to make a trainspotting video with both old shape and normal Henry in it, but I never had the ability to do it until recently. Originally I was going to show a longer time period, but I got caught up in telling a story, and the video would have gone on forever. I had a lot of fun telling the story of 98462 (Alfred) and 87546 (Crovan) in a more passive way, and you’ll see throughout references to stories like The Sad Story of Henry, Thomas’ Train and The Breakdown Train. You can also watch the junction slowly grow as the years pass.
98462 (Alfred) was made with an RC James with Murdoch’s tender and Victors face. 87546 was Gordon with Mighty Mac’s face.
For the most part I thought I was pretty accurate in terms of when characters arrived on the island, but I am aware there are some discrepancies.
I know Neil would have actually been working on a different part of the island, but when I originally had the idea he was a big part. Also, James was from the L&YR (Lancaster and Yorkshire Railway), not the L&WR, which is a typo. People have also questioned calling Gordon an A0, rather than an A1 or an A3. I said A0 because he's not really an A1 or an A3; he was a prototype. Hence A0, as he is unique.
I am super proud of this project, so I hope you all enjoy and have a happy holiday.
