This tutorial will show you how to create a foggy or smoky animated background in Adobe After Effects CC 2023 to use as a green screen background or element in your videos.

How To Create A Foggy Background in Adobe After Effects CC 2023:
1. Create New Composition (Cmd + N)
2. Go to ‘Effects & Presets’ Panel
3. Twirl open Adobe After Effects CC 2023 Folder
4. Twirl open Presets
5. Twirl open Backgrounds
6. Scroll down to ‘Fog Lights’
7. Double-click on ‘Fog Lights’ to add a Solid Layer
8. Tap ‘U’ to reveal keyframes to adjust duration (default is 5 secs)
9. Go to ‘Effect Controls’ to customize the ‘Circuit’ effect
