Adopting school aged kids can sound intimidating if you have only ever imagined adopting a baby or toddler. In reality, there are pros and cons to adopting children of any age. As a foster/adoptive mom to 3 kids ranging in ages from 3 to 10, I have experienced both younger child adoption and older child adoption.
