2025 AP Precalculus Released FRQ #2 My Solution

This is my attempt to solve the released FRQ #2 from the 2025 AP Precalculus Exam. I solve these cold, to get as close to the same feel as my students get when they open the exam. This is my entire thought process as I worked through the problem.

Part of the reason I do this is to let teachers and students know that we all make mistakes. You'll notice in the first part of this video, I make quite an egregious error before I caught myself and corrected it, costing valuable time if I'd been on the actual exam. Students and teachers both need to know this is okay, that it's okay not to be perfect on this exam.

There may be more mistakes that I didn't catch. None of us know exactly what the scoring rubric will say when it's released. So these solutions are our best educated guess as to what readers will look for. That's okay too. If you see an error, or have a critique of my methods or answers, please comment below. I'm grateful for constructive criticism always.
