All of the Trans Ams used in the movie "Smokey and the Bandit" were destroyed by the end of the movie so Burt Reynolds had 3 Bandit Pontiac Trans Ams made for him and a few more trans am he had signed and title in his name. this being one of the cars he had titled in his name and signed.
