Earth Domes are built with earth. The earth material is composed of natural clay, aggregates and water, with a special proprietary formulation of Earth Mix from Tertex International that includes Fibrin23 & Durus (construction microfibers), compressed in sandbags. Its shape is inspired by CalEarth Institute’s SuperAdobe technology that has been tested to withstand an earthquake of 8.2 magnitude.
