SURFSKATING in STOCKHOLM | Yow Surfskate | SONY RX100 VII Cinematic Travel Video

My day in the life of surf skating in Stockholm. On the last warm summer day I took my Yow surfskate to explore my hometown. Stockholm is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Although it is not the best city for skating you can still find some good spots to ride your longboard or in my case a Yow Padang Padang surfskate. Surfskate gives you the same feeling of surfing as you would get on a real surfboard. On a good surfskate you never have to push. You can pump and carve forever without putting your foot on the ground. When you do actual surfing you don't get much practice for surfing moves, since you spend most of time paddling. That is why a few skateboard / longboard brands came up with a surfskate. A surfskate has a special surf adapter on the front wheels. This surf adapter gives you ability to make radical turns or very deep carves, like you would do on a surfboard. A surfskate practise or training will improve your surfing a lot. There are three main brands of surfskates: Yow, Carver and Smoothstar. My favorite is Yow surfskate at the moment. YowSurf is based out of Spain.

This cinematic travel video was shot on a Sony RX100 VII camera in 4k and 1080p 120fps.
In like shooting on this Sony point and shoot camera when doing lots of action, because it is very light and compact. The battery life is not the best in the camera, so you will need a few spare batteries. I also like that this camera has a very good zoom, which makes it very easy to film cool shots very quickly.
