Two of a kind SM skridskosegling 2017 Vingsegel Draksegel Kitewing Kite Surfsegel

Anders Ansar the designer of the winning wing no 80 writes: For building instructions see: https://sites.google.com/site/iwsellplans/. For plenty about wing sailing see: https://sites.google.com/site/icewinghomepage/ . For a possible 100 mph, 160 kmph, wing sail see: https://sites.google.com/site/iwspeedrecord/ . I built the no 80 wing in the video 1980 and it is still going strong, and later designs are still faster. The sailor was equally mature, 74 years old! (The other wing sailor fell in the race and lost plenty of distance.) Speed down wind was some 40 mph, 60 kmph. Wind speed some 10 to 14 knots, 5 to 7 mps. I was with a wing in the USA and won racing big ice boats: https://sites.google.com/site/iwbeatsiceboat/ also includes an earlier Swedish One of a Kind race.
The "Two of a Kind race" (my suggestion, and kindly followed by the championship organizer Alexander Sahlin.) was arranged after the Swedish Skate Sailing Championship 22 Jan 2017, 75 miles, 120 km, west of Stockholm. Ice is a fantastic natural resourse we have in the north. Great for sailing as the skate friction is only 1 % of the weight. Documentary.
