Atlantropa: The Plan to Block the Mediterranean (AKA Colonialism 2.0?)

So there was this crazy engineering plan to block up the whole Mediterranean. This was about a hundred years ago, so you can probably guess that this plan involved some pretty hardcore exploiting of Africa. Fortunately most people thought the dude who came up with it was pretty crazy... Watch the video for more. I'm not sure why I'm giving away the whole story here, that's probably not a great idea. Also, in a way this guy was the OG of BUILD THAT WALL... Other than the Chinese they also build a big old wall... Which I've never actually seen, despite that fact that I've been to China twice. Hmm.
