Production of Insulin Throuhg Genetic Engineering
The location of human pancreas in the body
Restriction enzymes cut the DNA from the specific sections.
The DNA section that consists the insulin gene
The restriction enzyme cuts the bacterium plasmid from the specific section.
The gene that enables the production of human insuline and the bacterium plasmid combine to form the recombinant plasmid.
The recobinant plasmid is transferred to the bacterium cell and bacteria are enabled to multiply. The bacteria multiplied through this process, start to produce human insulin.
