Spike Patrol - Chi Ma Wan, HK. 3/18/14

This is the end part of the famed Chi Ma Wan trail of Hong Kong. We did a full loop last Tuesday. As my friends fondly call it "extra rice," this section on the video is truly the most exciting part of the trail loop as it comprises mostly of downhill sections, particularly on the last stretch. It's a good reward for the several hours of technical climbs and traversing thru rock gardens, not to mention random surprises along the trail. On our relaxed pace, it took us about 3-4 hours of full trail pleasure. We took several short breaks and had chit chats, but were dead-on serious when the trails get too testy. Carrying the bike was inevitable on some "impossible" sections. This is an unedited video of our final descent. Hope you enjoy the clip. Looking forward to post more videos soon!
