TV Show So Scary, It Was Banned by the BBC!

The story is that the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) produced a TV series in the 1960's that was deemed by the public and morality advocates as "too scary" and cancelled after only 6-episodes. They were promptly removed from programming circulation and then thought to have been lost or even purposely destroyed so that they could not be viewed by anyone.

I love scary movies as much as the next horror fan, but judging by the opening intro, I have a feeling that these episodes are more cursed than entertaining.
