This morning was hard. I got triggered, I lost my cool, and for a moment I wasn’t the mom I want to be.

I’m sharing this because I know I’m not the only one who has those mornings—when you’re rushing, everyone needs something at once, the noise is loud, your body is already stressed… and suddenly you’re reacting before you even realize you’re activated.

But here’s what I’ve learned: what matters most isn’t being perfect. It’s what we do after we mess up.

In this video, I walk you through what happened with me and my kids, what set me off, and how I repaired afterward—because repair is where trust is built. Repair teaches our kids that relationships can handle hard moments. That love doesn’t disappear when emotions get big. That we can take responsibility, reconnect, and try again.
