Banebots Wheel Installation - The Robot MarketPlace
This is a demonstration of how to attach a Banebots wheel to a motor shaft. Step 1 - Start screwing the set screw into the hub. Step 2 - Slide the hub to the desired position on your motor shaft and tighten the set screw. If your shaft has a flat on it, tighten the set screw onto the flat. Step 3 - slide the wheel onto the hub. Step 4 - Use a pair of snap ring pliers to place the snap ring into the groove on the hub. That's it! To take the wheel off, simply do everything in reverse - remove the snap ring, slide off the wheel, and loosen the set screw.
