How does one of today’s millennials view the 2008 financial crisis? As part of the generation inheriting a battered economic system, Seth Howard offers a millennial's perspective of the parties involved in the crisis. Roles and responsibilities are explored, starting at the beginning of the downfall to its lasting effect. What factors and motivations played a role among individuals, small organizations, and the government? What was it like to be a banker or consumer during this time? Why did people behave in the way that they did? Who exactly was to blame? Seth is a senior at Austin College, completing majors in Business Finance and Economics. He is the Vice President of the Student Assembly and a peer tutor at the Academic Skills Center. He competes as powerlifter and is the 2019 Junior Bench Press National Champion. In 2018 his silver and bronze medals earned him a spot on the U.S National Team. In the summer of 2018, he served as a Congressional Intern in the Washington, D.C., office of Representative Roger Williams of the 25th District of Texas.
