Matthew 16:17 Jesus declared to Peter, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood but by my Father in heaven referring to his identity made known to Peter by prophetic revelation. Galatians 1:12 Paul declared, the Gospel he received was by revelation, he did not receive it from man or was taught it by men. God desires to give us all personal revelation that will be relevant to our lives and enable us to know him better. Our eyes need to be enlightened by the Spirit of Revelation. Revelation is an imparting of light from God and has the power to change us.
