Tony Orlando - 60 & 70's Medley - The Las Vegas Finale (01202024 - Southpoint, Las Vegas, NV)

Tony Orlando and his band performed a medley of 60's and 70's classics: Johnny B Goode, (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction, Shout & You Are So Beautiful. It was the second show of his three-night engagement at Southpoint Casino in Las Vegas, NV, and it was an emotional one. Towards the end of the set, you can see him getting choked up as he waved farewell to his fans. You may not have expected Tony Orlando to "rock out," but his fans know he can do just that! I saw him the following night, but it didn't seem to have the emotional impact as the Saturday night show. Afterwards, I was able to meet him, along with several other fans, in a room that was set up for a meet and greet. I was glad to be part of the night's farewell festivities. It was a wonderful evening that I won't forget.
