How Britain Turned the Luftwaffe's Own Navigation System Into a Weapon
Every Friday, you will learn something I bet you didn't know. Something no one told you about the rich history of ham radio or the technology we take for granted.

========================================
In 1940, the Luftwaffe had a secret weapon that nobody in the British Air Ministry believed existed. A radio system that could guide bombers to specific targets in total darkness, through cloud, with terrifying accuracy. One young physicist proved them all wrong. And then a team of engineers in windswept huts on the Dorset coast did something about it — using captured enemy radios, borrowed transmitters, and an idea so elegant it still makes radio people smile eighty years later.
This is the story of the signal that sounded exactly right. And why that was the problem.
