Black Walnut // Black Epoxy // Coffee Table // How to
I wrote up an article on Instructables for this build! Link here: https://goo.gl/MqCPJB
For this video, I wanted to go a little more in-depth about my finishing technique. I use General Finishes Arm-R-Seal in Satin and apply it with a foam brush. There are a few tips and tricks I have picked up to help get a smooth beautiful finish.
This coffee table was a commission project and I am very happy with how it came out! The walnut has its flaws, but the cocobolo bowties and epoxy made it into a beautiful piece of furniture. I had a problem with the epoxy pooling in the tape at the bottom which means I wasted a few ounces. Next time I'll use some foil tape to hold the seal better and prevent this waste.
