*Introducing SS Amerikanis!*
Originally the Kenya Castle for Union Castle Line, she was a modest-sized ocean liner with solid career service. She entered service for Chandris in 1967 and was briefly chartered by Costa Cruises in the early 80s. She did cruises to the Mediterranean, Bermuda, and the Caribbean and was a favorite among the Chandris Ships. She continued service up until 1996 when she was laid up in Greece. In 2001 she was finally sold for scrap and was broken up at Alang, India.
