How social media algorithms shape the way we get information and news
New research from the University of Virginia looks at the ways online algorithms from social media companies are influencing how users get news and information, and how Facebook is creating an “echo chamber.” Brent Kitchens, assistant professor of commerce at the University of Virginia and one of the researchers, joined CBSN to discuss the findings.
