MAN-CHILD by DESIGN: How Lexus Ruined The GX550

The original Lexus GX470/GX460/Landcruiser Prado 150 was Toyota's effort to reverse the "soccer-mom" effect of the bloated full-size Landcruiser 200, that was becoming more desirable for mall-crawling than actual off-road fun. The original GX/Prado150 had a SHORT wheelbase and came standard with disconnecting front and rear sway bars (KDSS). The NEW Lexus GX550 ditches ideal short wheelbase for the longer 112.2" wheelbase, retains a bunch of 'plastic-bling' and deletes E-KDSS on all but one trim-level. Can Lexus do better?
