The big lessons on this episode:
1. When meeting someone new, you need to take the lead. Never expect the other person to lead a conversation that you asked to begin!
2. When you are feeling anxious, it's difficult to make an interaction fun. The trick to fix that is to consciously turn it into the "fun lane" by practicing the world's most simple method to humor: "Lie and then take it back."

Doing a show like this is so different from how I usually am coaching—only because of the time limit. I have literally 24 hours with this guy—no more. And we have cameras following us the entire time. So I am trying to find ways to give him the biggest change in the shortest amount of time. But fear is fear is fear. And fear doesn't die easily. And it gets in the way of being able to progress with relationships.

But regardless, my favorite thing about The Wingman is getting you to see how easy it can be to meet new people. It's the funnest thing in the world to connect with someone you have chemistry with. Better than video games, better than chocolate bars. Because two people finding that buzzing energy between each other, and then going even deeper after that is what life is all about. That's why I say, "Relationships are everything."
