In high school, I got a paid summer internship at a nature center where I regularly volunteered (thanks to an ExxonMobil program). Seeing many snakes there, I was motivated to spend time researching the physics of snake movement. With my interest in filmmaking, I eventually made this video with the help of some of the staff.

This video won the 2nd Annual Southern California American Association of Physics Teachers: Student Physics Video Contest. (see page 7: https://www.aapt.org/Sections/upload/SectionNews_July2014.pdf)
