There are many aspects to overcoming Achilles Tendonitis, such as activity modification (avoiding fast running, low drop shoes-for the time being, and hills), doing at home exercises (eccentric calf raises- only past the acute phase of injury- there is a card in this video to another video showing how to do so), exercises that assist in the mechanics of walking and running, ways of assisting the body in the remodeling process (as shown in the video) and potentially wearing a night splint to bed.
