In this video I will be checking out the new MXR Hybrid Fuzz.

Guitarists have always debated which is better... silicon fuzz or germanium fuzz. Now MXR have ended this argument by putting both transistor types into a single pedal. This pedal contains both a silicon fuzz face and a germanium fuzz face.

This means you get the warmth and low end bloom of a vintage voiced germanium fuzz, with the attack and cut of a silicon fuzz.

The tones you hear are coming from the Blackstar Studio 10 6L6 which is running into the Two Notes Torpedo Captor X. The guitars used in the video are the Chapman Guitars ML3 Traditional and the Stanford Guitars Crossroad Marquee.
