The Soul Can Be Copied and Pasted Into a Body of Light

The human body, in the ancient Egyptian understanding that Wiliam has spent decades reconstructing, is not simply a biological container. It is a ladder - a tower, a stairway to heaven - capable of unwinding itself to reveal the soul within, and of providing that soul with the means of ascent into higher realms.

That teaching finds its most exquisite visual expression in a scene from the tomb of Queen Nefertari, the wife of Ramesses the Great and one of the most important figures in the Egyptian resurrection tradition. In the scene, Nefertari stands before Ptah. In her hands she holds the Egyptian hieroglyphs for new clothes - specifically for the transparent linen garment she is depicted wearing.

William reads this with precision. Nefertari is not making an offering in the conventional religious sense. She is expressing gratitude to Ptah for his role in helping her weave what Wiliam calls her afterlife garment of light - the luminous vehicle into which her soul can be transferred. The language Wiliam uses is deliberately modern: the soul is copied and pasted from the physical body into the light body, which then becomes the vessel for ascent.
Once that transfer is complete, Nefertari joins the Star Walkers - the community of beings who have successfully made the transition and now navigate the higher realms. The transparent linen is not decorative. It is the visual encoding of a resurrection technology that Nefertari, Queen of resurrection, had mastered.
