Go for it!
I like this scratcher. Seems well made, and has feathers and a ball which act as a lure to the scratching surface. The loop makes it easy to slip over a door knob or other hook.

I purchased mine for Devo, a big ole, beat up, solid black Tom Cat that I took in. He was roaming around a nearby neighborhood where a friend had been feeding him when he occasionally showed up in her back yard.

He's now been "fixed", tested, wormed, flea treated, and vaccinated, and is very slowly adapting to life as an indoor kitty. Clearly, he has not had a happy life. He has a longtime wound on his head that won't heal, and not surprisingly, tested positive for FIV, which is probably the reason the wound is slow to heal.
