Filigree jewelry - part 1 - making filigree wire

In this tutorial I want to show you how I make my filigree wire. This is part 1 in my filigree series

Materials:

- 0.3 mm wire
OR
- 0.4 mm (26 ga) wire
OR
- 0.6 mm (22 ga) wire

The gauge all depends on
what thickness and height
you want the finished filigree
wire to be.

Tools:

- Fine tipped flush cutters
- Cordless drill OR
- Wire twisting tool
- Torch
- Soldering surface
- Quenching bowl
- Steel block
- Chasing hammer OR
- Rolling mill (this works much better)
