Douglas Murray: Australia put on a ‘very unappealing face’ during COVID-19

It will be very difficult for Australia’s international reputation to recover after being one of the “toughest states” during COVID-19, according to author Douglas Murray.

“Australia has been seen to be one of the absolutely toughest states in the world, countries in the world in the last two years in relation to Covid,” Mr Murray said.

“It’s put on a very unappealing face, I think, to much of the world.

“I think it’s going to take a long time, actually, for countries like Australia to get tourism back.”
